Set up and configure your Automatum account.
Overview
Your Automatum account is the foundation for managing all your cloud marketplace operations. This guide covers initial setup, configuration, and account management.
Creating Your Account
Sign Up
- Visit app.automatum.io
- Enter your email address
- Create a secure password
- Verify your email
- Complete your profile
Account Verification
After signing up:
- Check your email for verification code
- Complete profile information
Account Types
Individual Account
- Single user access
- Personal marketplace management
- Suitable for solo ISVs
Organization Account
- Multi-user access
- Team collaboration
- Role-based permissions
- Centralized billing
Profile Settings
Personal Information
Update your profile at Settings > Profile:
- Display name
- Email address
- Phone number
Security Settings
Protect your account:
Password
- Minimum 12 characters
- Mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols
- Change every 90 days recommended
Account Linking
Link to Organization
Join an existing organization:
- Sign up with your organization email
- You will be prompted to join the existing organization
- Accept invitation
- Access organization resources
- Ask your organization's admin to assign you the right role
Account Recovery
Forgot Password
- Go to login page
- Click Forgot Password
- Enter email address
- Check email for reset link
- Create new password
Account Deletion
Permanent Action
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
To delete your account:
- Export all data first
- Email us at hello@automatum.io to request a deletion
- Account will be scheduled for deletion
Data retention after deletion:
- Personal data: Deleted immediately
- Transaction records: Retained 7 years (legal requirement)
- Anonymized analytics: Retained indefinitely
API Access
Generate API Keys
- Go to Integrations > API Access > API Keys
- Click Create New Key
- Name your key
- Set permissions
- Copy Access Key and Secret Key

Troubleshooting
Can't Log In
- Verify email address is correct
- Check caps lock is off
- Try password reset
- Clear browser cache
- Contact support if issues persist
Not Receiving Emails
- Check spam/junk folder
- Add noreply@comms.automatum.io to contacts
- Verify email address is correct
- Check email filters
Account Not Syncing
- Refresh the page
- Log out and log back in
- Clear browser cache
- Try different browser
- Contact support
